Das VAULT FESTIVAL in Waterloo, London (Leiter: Andy George) feiert mit seiner Wiedereröffnung im Januar 2022 gleichzeitig sein 10-jähriges Bestehen.

Das Festival wird von der Non-Profit-Organisation VAULT CREATIVE ARTS getragen, die neben dem Festival von nun ab auch ein ganzjähriges Programm bieten wird.

Die Leitung geht dabei vom Gründer Mat Burtcher auf den Mitbegründer Andy George über, der neuer Leiter des Festivals wird.

VAULT CREATIVE ARTS wird von Adam Gray als Executive Director geleitet, der vorher am Bernie Grant Arts Centre in gleicher Funktion tätig war.

Die Programmierung übernimmt nun dauerhaft Bec Martin, der schon früher im Festival für den Theaterbereich zuständig war.

Zudem kündigt das Festival Sofi Berenger als Producer und General Manager an, die zuletzt in dieser Funktion am Les Enfants Terribles and Iris Theatre tätig war.

Den Chair von Vault Creative Arts übernimmt Judith Diamant (Gründerin von Wayward Productions)  Als weitere Mitarbeiter werden Madison Lymer (Sales Development Manager), Josh Morrall (Head of Communications) und Thomas Kirk Shannon (Head of Desing) angekündigt.

Judith Diamant sagte in der Pressekonferenz: "I’m delighted to be the first chair of trustees for Vault Creative Arts. It’s an honour and joy to be associated with one of London’s most vibrant arts organisations and I look forward to contributing to its work and development going forward.”

Das Festival von Vault Creative Arts präsentiert aus diesem Anlass seine drei neuen Förderprogrramme:

• Live-Performance-Makers (Vault Five)

• Vault New Directors Programme (6 Teilnehmer) (Leiterin: Madelaine Moore, Künstlerische Leiterin des “Theatre Company The Thelmas”.

• Vault New Writers Programme (6 Teilnehmer) (Leiter: Guleraana Mir, Autor und Executive Director bei “Theatre Company The Thelmas” unterstützt von dem Theatre-Publisher “Nick Hern Books”.
