The Rose of the Little Prince

“If you love a flower that lives on a star,
so it is beautiful to look at the sky at night.
All the stars are full of flowers.”
"The people at your house," said the little prince,
"grow five thousand roses in one and the same garden
and yet they do not find what they are looking for there. And yet what they are looking for can be found in a single rose...
But the eyes are blind. You have to search with your heart."
THE ROSE IN THE LITTLE PRINCE IS THE LOVE THAT TRIGGERS HIS JOURNEY AND HIS RETURN AND SO IT IS THE KEY TO THE RETURN OF THE AIRPLANE WHO CRASHED IN THE DESERT TO THE PEOPLE.
WHEN THE LITTLE PRINCE HAS RETURNED TO HIS ROSE, THE AIRMAN IS ALL OF A SUDDEN ABLE TO REPAIR HIS ENGINE; SUDDENLY EVERYTHING IS VERY EASY: HE SAVES HIMSELF AND ALSO RETURNS HOME:
AT THE END HE TELLS US WHAT HE LOST IN THE DESERT AND WHAT HE FOUND: "I HAVE BEEN COMFORTED, BUT NOT COMPLETELY: IT IS SAD TO LOSE A FRIEND; BUT NOT EVERYONE HAS HAD A FRIEND AT ALL;
AND THEN HE LOOKS UP AT THE STARS AND HEARS HIS LITTLE PRINCE LAUGHING: "ALL THE STARS WILL BE FOUNTAINS THAT WILL GIVE YOU A DRINK..." AND HE INVITES US TO LOOK UP AT THE STARS AND ASK OURSELVES WHETHER THE SHEEP ATE THE ROSE OR NOT AND UNDERSTAND WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES.

THE ROSE in THE LITTLE PRINCE represents love and the longing that comes from deep love. The Little Prince leaves his planet because he can no longer bear to be near the rose: it has taken possession of him, demands his constant attention and care. It is vain, selfish in his eyes. And so he decides to leave his planet and thinks he will never return. But at the last moment of his departure, she, the proud queen of flowers, confesses her deep love for him, the prince, and sends him away.
Struck and confused by this message, the Little Prince sets off on his journey to the planets. He becomes a seeker who hopes to find a planet that can become his new home. And all the time he carries with him the longing for his rose, which grows steadily the further he gets away from it.
And when he enters a blooming rose garden , his anger at the rose flares up again, because it had told him that it was unique and now there were thousands of them. The deception seems unforgivable to him, he lies down on the grass and cries.
And so he must first meet the fox , who wants to be tamed by him so that they can trust each other and need each other. He tells him the secret of the "fixed customs": because every Thursday the hunters go to the village to dance and he, the fox, can roam unhindered through the wheat fields, right up to the edge of the village. Therefore Thursday is the wonderful day. And the fox reveals to him the secret of love:
ONLY WITH THE HEART CAN YOU SEE WELL. WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS INVISIBLE TO THE EYES.
